The Mamanuca (pronounced Mah-mah-noo-tha) islands lie in a majestic arc, only a short distance from the mainland of Viti Levu, curving to the north-west, and almost touching the Yasawa chain. There are 13 islands in all and they all share in common pristine white sandy beaches, waving palms, crystal blue waters and, at night, the cooling influence of the trade winds.

The Mamanucas are essentially volcanic outcrops pushed up from the ocean floor in a gigantic earthquake thousands of years ago. Within the Mamanucas is the Malolo group, three miles inside the barrier reef, extending i9 a curve for about 75 miles.

The stunning beauty of the islands, and their convenient location to Nadi international airport, make this the most popular holiday destination in Fiji The vivid turquoise waters are warm all year round and the consistent warm sunny weather and cooling evening breeze combine to make it the perfect location for watersports, fishing and diving.

PADI Five Star Dive Centers

The PADI Five Star Dive Center membership level is awarded to progressive PADI Dive Centers that excel in providing divers with a full range of diver education programs, equipment selection, and experience opportunities. To qualify as PADI Five Star Dive Centers, an operation must meet elevated service and business standards, and promote and offer PADI courses as their only recreational diver training. These dive centers also actively promote aquatic environmental awareness and embrace the PADI System of diver education, with a commitment to providing customers with quality products, services and experiences.

Project AWARE Foundation recognized Subsurface tireless efforts to conserve the underwater environment, leading by example, helping to both motivate and inspire divers, consumers and local communities.
