Who would you want to be stranded with, what books would you bring, what music to listen to? On Namotu Island you can live that fantasy, but you might also want to factor in what equipment to bring to take advantage of a blue water resort that is considered world class for surfing, diving, sailboarding, kite surfing, fishing and standup paddle boarding.
Water, water everywhere but what really sets Namotu apart is the service and the atmosphere. You can spend all day in, over and under the water, or you can relax and let the sun cook away your cares and worries. No matter what activity you may be interested in, Namotu’s attentive “can do” staff are there to make it happen on your schedule.
Guest accommodation is in bure, built in Fijian style with high ceilings, hardwoods, and lots of windows to take advantage of the sea breezes. Namotu has three private bure, two larger VIP bures and its own “Luv Shack”. In addition, there’s The Villa, a complete house with 2-3 bedrooms, living room, bar and its own pool, perfect for a family or a small group of friends. All rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, bathrooms and the very popular outdoor showers.
The underwater world is a fantastic attraction and eerious divers thrill at the unspoilt corals and abundant marine life. As well as coral trout and reef fish, eagle rays, and turtles can be seen on dive trips a short boat ride from the island.
Subsurface Fiji dive boats and staff will pick you up from the beach and take you to world class dive sites.
Although there is no dive shop on the island, all equipment is available along with the full services of the PADI 5 star dive shop at nearby Musket Cove Island Resort.
